You should be prepared by the time the Spaceport Quests start. Loot anxiety should be reduced by this stage of the game. By this point in the game, you should have a lot of materials and weapons to make augments and shields.  You don't need to know where to go for the rest of them. These quests usually require you to bring certain items out or kill ARCs.
